You will learn about the connection between health and unhealed past traumas and hurts, methods for self healing, and how to establish or strengthen a relationship with God as well as with yourself. My mission is to help other women find health, happiness, and alignment. My name is Rachelle Renee`. I am a single mother, a coach, channel, and healer. I have tried everything to lose weight. I have been lifting weights and exercising for over 30 years. I have done every diet, weight loss program, supplement, you name it, I have tried it. But at the end of the day, no matter how much I lost or how perfectly I stuck to whatever fad I was trying, I never felt good. I was still tired, I still didn’t like the way I looked, and I was still stressed all the time. I was worried I wasn’t the mother to my kids that I wanted to be. I realized I was way too obsessed with looking a certain way, weighing a certain weight, and just trying to live up to impossible standards. Worse, I was completely exhausting myself in the process! I finally realized it is more important to feel good and healthy. I needed to shift my focus to my overall health and not looking a certain way. I started to become more aware of how I was talking to myself and began to shift my self-talk to positive, affirming self-talk. I started to focus on food as fuel for my body, not a carrot or stick for what the scale said. I started to focus on exercise as a way to feel stronger and more energized, and it has since become a major component of my mental health as well. Over the years, I have established and maintained a close and strong connection to God. I have learned to develop my gifts, both spiritual and non-spiritual. I have learned spiritual and non-spiritual techniques to heal the mind, body, and soul and I want to share my knowledge and gifts with as many as possible, so they may find their own healing as well as develop their own gifts. After a lifetime of looking outside myself for solutions to my problems with things like body image, self-worth, relationships, and money, I learned that the problem was within. It all stemmed from not loving myself enough and not fully accepting myself. Looking back there are several signs of my not loving myself enough. These are:  
A negative or critical inner dialogue
Struggling in multiple areas of your life
Apologizing for yourself
People pleasing
Avoiding new relationships and social events

You are trying to change too much, too fast.

It may not be the first thing that occurs to you when you think about health and fitness, but sleep is far more important than we tend to think. Many of us, myself included for many years, seem to try and operate on as little sleep as possible. It’s like we are trying to squeeze more hours out of the day. As much as we may want to get more done or try and get by with less sleep, it doesn’t do us any favors. In a recent episode I discussed how sleep affects weight loss, so today I am discussing how you can establish a good sleep routine, so you can get better results.

I have spent the past several years on a journey of healing. In recent years I have gone deeper into inner healing and energy healing. This journey has revealed to me why God is so emphatic on the importance of forgiveness. I have learned how holding on to old hurts and past trauma has held me back. More importantly, I have gone through energy healing to help me release all that has held me back and I have gotten trained in providing this service to others. It is powerful work and today I am sharing some of what I have learned with you and I also have a heart healing included in this episode for you. It sounds so simple and easy to set boundaries, doesn’t it?  Yet, this is one of the most difficult things to do for most of us. We live in a culture that encourages and rewards hustle, which leads us to believe we have to do more, give more, be more, to “earn” the income we want, to have the life we want. This is complete garbage that really only serves your employers and the people who have become accustomed to you giving and doing and putting yourself last while putting everyone else first. If you are ready to break this cycle, set some healthy boundaries, and get your life back, then join me in today’s episode.
 
Today I am talking about setting boundaries. It is critical to getting started on and staying on your health and wellness journey. Lack of boundaries is one of the biggest reasons people struggle to get started with fitness and nutrition or to stick with it. We tell ourselves we have no time, we have to work late, we have to be at so and so’s event, and so on. This may be tough to hear, but none of this is true. We don’t truly have to do anything; we just convince ourselves that we do.  So how do we shift this? How do we get ourselves out of this cycle of hustle and burnout caused by lack of boundaries? How do we set boundaries for ourselves?
Evaluate where you are.
Determine how you want things to change.
Decide.
Commit.
Identify and release the limiting beliefs as the come up.
